The journal “Morskoy Vestnik” was established in 2001 by the publishing house “Mor Vest”

engines, equipment and control systems, ship's radio equipment and radioelectronic systems,

industrial safety, ocean and shelf development, navigation and hydrography, maritime safety, fleet
and seafaring history, maritime business and law. The volume of promotional materials is up to
40% of the total volume of the journal
Status: By the decision of the Council of VAK the Morskoy Vestnik magazine is entered on the list of the leading scientific magazines and editions published in the Russian Federation where basicscientific outcomes of doctoral dissertations shall be published. www.perechen.vak2.ed.gov.ru

He graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute (now the Maritime State Technical University) in 1964
From 1964 to 1988 he worked at the Acad. A.N. Krylov Central Research Institute (last position – Head of Department)
From 1988 to 1991 he worked as a Deputy Director General for Research at the Scientific Industrial Association ”Shipbuilding” (Ministry of River Fleet)
From 1991 to 2001: Deputy Director of the publishing house “Shipbuilding”
From 1994 to 2001: Chief Editor of “Maritime Journal”
From 2001 to the present: Director of the publishing house “Mor Vest” and Chief Editor of the journal “Morskoy Vestnik”
Member of the Central Board of the Acad. Krylov Russian Scientific-Technical Society of Shipbuilders
Full member of the St. Petersburg Maritime Board
